linen (85x900cm) - blown glass, woven linen (20x28x10cm) - acryclic on canvas (29.7 × 42 cm, 21x29.7 cm)
It began with weaving - a slow, repetitive, steady act that would offer structure in a time of loss. Slowly, the act of weaving became a way to sit with grief and make space for it without needing to fix or explain it. Eventually, the loom started to hold what words could not, and in time, some of those words began to surface. From this process came a nine-metre woven work, a glass sculpture, and a collection of reflections. Each piece traces memory and absence, the quiet work of making sense of what feels uncertain.
Together, they form a record of reflection - a glimpse into mourning and repair, a way of staying close to what is difficult, and finding, thread by thread, a way forward.
